Mendel-Gruman employed many scientists during their occupation of the terraformed planet.

Appearance

These men wear white, basic clothing with two sets of chest pockets. Certain scientists wore glasses, and others had shorter cut hair, or facial hair.

History

A group of scientists were originally tasked with dissecting deceased juvenile insects. As they worked, they suddenly afflicted by an airborne toxin, released from the insect's body, which immediately killed them all. The team that located them after suffered no ill effects. While harvesting and refining the toxin, Roland Kane later tested it on a facility full of scientists to show Mendel-Gruman how effective the toxin could be, resulting in the deaths of large swaths of people.

Production notes

While not featured in Turok during gameplay, scientists played a large role during the reveal of the Soldier Bug enemy. Many models of deceased scientists can be found within the game's files, some of which were unused for sequences where they were killed.
