The smoke grenade[1] is a throwable grenade first introduced during the events of Turok.
Appearance[]
The smoke grenade has a cylindrical appearance with a beige coloration. It is around the size of an average grenade, and it features a red glowing display on its side.
History[]
One of these weapons would be used during the capture of Whiskey Company's remnants as Joseph Turok attempted to sabotage the Mendel-Gruman complex they were in. He would then use one against the planet's dominant Tyrannosaurus rex, destroying her skull with one.
Production notes[]
Despite being dubbed a smoke grenade within the game's files and possessing a fitting design, the grenade never acts as one. During the events of Into the Breach, this weapon acts like a stun grenade, blinding and deafening Joseph Turok, who regains composition later on. During An Eye for an Eye, the weapon is used again as Joseph shoves one into Mama Scarface's skull, with the grenade sounding and detonating with the power of a frag grenade.
