Gameplay[]
The game is a 2D action game. Being a handheld LCD game, the characters and enemies move in simple, pre-determined paths, usually in a way that implies movement from a "background" area to the "foreground" where the player character resides. The player character, Turok, can move to one of six locations on the screen and can take aim at roughly two directions per location. Movement is controlled by the four-button "d-pad" on the left of the handheld, and the two buttons on the right control weapons fire.
The goal is to defeat enemies to increase the score. There is also a 90-second timer. Once the Life bar is depleted, or the timer reaches zero, the game ends and the score resets.
